Factors That Underpin The Hr Planning
Factors That Underpin The Hr PlanningHuman resource course of studyning is a genuinely(prenominal) important task for whatsoever constitution. This meanning plays a vital role in managing the employees of the formation. This plan helps to meet the mandatory mankind resources of any disposal. Actu each(prenominal)y it helps to delineate what type of employees, how many employees will be required in the organization. It also provides information about the sources of required tender-hearted resource need of the organization. These atomic number 18 roughly business factors that underpin world resource planning in a organization. Some important factors argon explained below.Nature of businessSize of the business type of businessManagement policyResource of the businessOrganization cultureLocation of the businessBusiness environmentHuman Resource Requirements in apt(p) situationHuman Resource (HR) is an important part for any organization. It is part and parcel for all orga nization. An organization cannot do anything without Human Resource. The success and failure of an organization mostly depends on the successfully implementation of the Human Resource policies and programs. The reason is that most of the organizational goal is achieved through it. If any organization is not so care about human resource department it must suffer in the long run. So before planning Human Resource (HR) requirements of any planetary house it must have to be given very much emphasis. Human Resource (HR) is must for every department of a firm. A firm usually has many departments. It is very much essential to shell out Human Resource in every department. Without Human Resource (HR) it is probably impossible to manage day to day activities of the firm. It includes from the bottom take aim to the top aim of the firm. Generally the bottom level HR implements the decision taken by the top level attention. For example if we analyze HR requirements of a production oriented firm or manufacturing firm we will analyze that there needs a encompassing range of human resource. at that place must have whatever top level executives who formulate plan for production departments. There also have some middle level and lower level human resource who will implement the plan formulate by the top level executives.Development of HR plan for an organizationOnce the analysis of the required personnel is complete, then the HR planning can begin. HR planning consists of four phases that are draw belowPhase1. FormulationIt is very important that the HR department of an organization should have direct relation with the rest of the department. Every organization has imaging objectives. This vision statement indicates the overall image of the firms. For planning HR in an organization the first step is formulation of the policy about the HR needs of variant departments.Phase2. DevelopmentIt is the second phase of the HR planning in an organization in this step a swot up analysis is conducted to identify the overall strength, weakness, opportunities and threats. This SWOT analysis provides important outlook about what action should need in future to cope with the changing environment by correctly planning the required human resource in the organization. The SWOT analysis provides answer about the following questionWhat about internal strengths? What about internal weaknesses? What is the opportunity? What are the external threats? The topics that are included in the SWOT Analysis might include personnel capabilities, benefit, employee services, information management systems, official facilities, and the reputation of human resources at bottom the organization.Phase3 .ImplementationIt is short- name objectives which should be established In order to complete long-term strategies in the firm. Short-term objectives are the objectives that can be accomplished within sixer months to one year. This short term objectives should be ful accept by short ter m goal. On the other hand long term objectives should be fulfilling by long term goal. It should be remembered that no short term objectives is fulfill by long term goal and vice versa.Phase 4. EvaluationHR planning should be evaluated in regular basis. Human resource planning must reflect the target ground on the measurable items. Once the human resource planning is done, it is essential to evaluate the success of that planning. If there is any mistake found, necessary steps should be taken in an urgent manner. There are two common ways in which we can measure the success of the plan such as time and budget. How HRM contribute to meet objectives of organizationHuman resource plan plays very vital role in coming upon the organizations objectives. truly organization does mean employees of the organization quite an than organization itself. Objectives of any organization are achieved by the employees of that organization. One organization can be differentiated from other organizati ons by the performances of employees of respective organization. Because we can see that different organizations perform differently and make different level of profit in the same industry only for human resource. Human resource plan has other plans to meet the objectives of the organization. Human resource plan has the following plans staff office planning indicate the process of deciding what positions the organizations will have to fill and how to fill them. Training and development plan is developed to make the employees of the organization skilled necessary to perform better and increase the efficiency level that last-ditchly contributes to meeting the objectives. Compensation plan is another vital part of human resource plan. It is very important because the performance of the employees depends on the satisfaction level and employees are the ultimate performers. Strategic compensation plan helps to the organization to hire high quality employees and retain them. Labor relati on plan is also required for some authoritative reasons. It is required to maintain good relation with labor union to meet any unexpected situation. sometimes labors strike and this hampers the normal business operations of the organization. Sometimes it is required to reach an agreement wage, working hours etc. Security and safety plan provides the security of the jobs of employees, which ultimately makes the employees more satisfied. Satisfied employees perform better for the organization. Personnel forecast means estimating the required number of employees on the basis of production volume or expected revenues. Variation in forecasting is very dear(p) for the organization. In fact Human resource planning creates value by engaging activities that produce the employee behaviors that company needs to achieve organizational goals and objectives. So all these plans under human resource planning help the organization to meet the objectives of the organization more efficiently.Impact of organizational structure and culture on management of HROrganizational structure and also organizational culture have certainly some impact on the management of human resource of the organization. Actually human resource management is the policy and practices involved in carrying out the human resource aspects of a management position including recruiting, training, appraising and compensating employees and also it is concerned about labor relations, health, safety and fairness. In fact, the size of the human resource department reflects the size of the organization. Large organization generally have large human resource department and small organizations have small human resource department with few employees. It is generally found that there is one Hr employee for every 100 employees. So organizational structure affects the management of human resource of an organization. Organizational culture also has some impact on the management of human resource of any business organizati on. If human resource department works as an independent body it can produce better benefit for the organization. If independence is the culture of an organization in case of decision making, it is helpful for the human resource department to make wise decision. So we can conclude that a fair practice in the organization makes the management of human resources more effective and fruitful for the organization.Monitoring the effectiveness of HRMThe failure or success of an organization largely depends on the HRM policies. The higher authority of an organization make HR plan and programs. This plan is implemented by the HR manager and the working level management. The HR manger also make plan for the human resource. It includes conducting job analysis, planning labor needs and requirements of the job candidates, selecting job candidates, orienting and training parvenue employees, managing wages and salaries, providing incentives and benefits, appraising performances, communicating( i nterviewing, counseling, disciplining) , training and developing manager and building employment commitment. All these plans are prepared and implemented by the HR specialists. later on implementing this plan, the HR specialists monitor to see what it impact on the organizational performances. For example the HR specialist wants to know whether they hire the in effect(p) people for the flop position subsequently analyzing the performances of the employees. If the performances are not satisfactory, HR specialist or manager arrange raining programs to teach the employees, so that they can perform better. If after all these efforts, performances are not satisfactory the HR manager can fire the employees from the organization. They also manage various incentives to the employees to get better service by satisfying them. After all the HR specialists always monitor the task performed by the employees and measure the effectiveness of the HRM policies prepared by them.Recommendations it is clear to us that without planning and implementing a right HR policy in an organization, it is not possible to achieve the target. If the HR policy is not properly installed, the overall efforts will fail in vain. So it should be given the top most priority. We have some recommendation regarding HRM policies for any kind of organization which want to achieve success through impart it. Some recommendations are as followsMaking clear plan on HRMHire the right peopleUse right selection toolsTraining employees based on needNot committing unfair labor practiceIncreasing employees loyalty through participationConclusion Human resource management is very essential and effective for maintaining an organization in a prudent manner. The most success of an organization depends on the appropriate HR policy. Human resource plan plays very vital role in meeting the organizations objectives. So every organization gives more emphasis for selecting the right people for the right position. After all it is most useful for any firm to implement the HR policy in prudent manner. Both long and short term objectives should be meet through it in accordance with the required necessity.

Here more than 70% depends on agriculture. Demand of agricultural industry, is increased day by day, so it is very important for the plant to plow effectively and increase its yield. The crop may be fruits or vegetables. For that it is very much important that a plant has to be monitored its growth period at the time of crop. Image processing is used as a tool to observe the indispositions on leaves of plants during farming from plantation up to harvesting. This study might foster to annunc iate a plant flip-flop ailments.Importance/Rationale of proposed InvestigationThe demand of the agriculture industry increases day by day, it is very much important for the plant to grow effectively and gives the maximum output or harvest. For doing so, it is essential to monitor the plant and plant leaf during its growth period, as well as, at the time of harvest.Scope of the proposed studyThe question only con billetrs the plants of the vegetables that are of any type.Digital Images of defective leaf of a plant. The study only considers the Image processing toolbox for converting the image. The study modifies the existing algorithm to convert image to text to perform the disease estimateing.Review of work already done on the subjectA web based tool named as Identificator is used to economic aid the people who are not experts in identifying plant diseases in a item way, which is totally based on the picture selection and/or little text descriptions. It is applicable when no sui table images exists, which represents the symptoms on a specific adjudicate of plant tissues. User can access this system from anywhere, it can be said as a multi accessed system, because the multi-access key of identification has to be generated, and it from the remote side or desktop computers or smart phone operators can easily use it. In this, the user selects pictures approaching the symptoms and the system gives the most probable disease.1The another(prenominal) study for the identification of symptoms of a plant diseases, where the images are colored is a machine vision system. The region, where the diseases found, in the digital pictures were improved, separated, and a set of features were removed from to each one of them. Inputs to a Support Vector Machine (SVM) features were then used as classifier and tests were performed to identify the best organized model. 2One study based on leaf image has been done. Some chemicals applied to the plants on the periodic basis. This kind of technique was only applied to the plants where the leaves already have been defected with the disease. Hundreds of chili plants were observed to perform disease forecasting. To detect disease on the chili plant leaf, the image processing technique plays a very important and useful role. This system will help farmers for the future monitoring and plantation.3One study has already been done, in that a decimal and qualitative optimization criteria for the co-operative evolutionary optimization method had been used, that involved a user and system (CEUS) for problems. The model, which is named as interactive evolutionary computation (IEC) model, system and user plays the own role for the evolution, such as individual replica or evaluation.Exactly in the opposite side, the proposed CEUS allows the user to dynamically change the allocation of search roles between the system and user, resulting in immediate optimization of qualitative and quantitative objective functions without i ncreasing user exhaustion. To achieve above mentioned optimization, it is better that a combination of user evaluation prediction and the integration of interactive and non-interactive EC would be used.4Objectives of the proposed studyThe main objective of this research is to maximize the cost-effective, reliable harvesting to the agriculture industry. With regarding of doing so, the study will seek following objectivesTo provide the tool to forecast/predict plant diseases for the vegetables. The study may give the solution to the problem where the crop of any vegetable will not give the expected results. To forecast how the plant leaf got defected in concern with the diseases. It may give the partial solution of the diseases by image of plant leaves.Research MethodologyIn this research study, different image processing techniques might be used.First digital image will be taken of the plant leaf.Image change software package MATLAB will be used to convert the image using image process ing toolbox.A survey on the image will be done in the qualitative and quantitative situations.Data might be collected from the specified region(s)/ farm(s).Comparison of the data which is taken from the digital image with the actual data to forecast the disease.Hypotheses to be testedSources of InformationSources of the information would be the farm or a nursery from where the digital pictures might be taken on a specific interval to study whether the leaves are affected with any specific diseases or not.Tools and Techniques of ResearchTools that will going to be used is the MATLAB R2010a (image editing software) with image editing tool ,that will help to convert the image into the text, those texts will be used for the future reference.Tentative ChapterizationThere might be the following chapters in the PhD thesis Title pageAbstract (with keywords)Table of contentsList of tablesList of figuresAbbreviationsStatement of original authorshipAcknowledgments1 Introduction2 Literature re view3 Methodology4 Analysis of data5 Conclusions and implicationsBibliographyAppendicesBibliographyNakayama, S. Conceptualizing Naval Helicopter Landing Gear Engineering Essay
Conceptualizing Naval Helicopter land Gear Engineering EssayThe get gear is an important part of an aircraft as march onmost as the take-offs and landings ar concerned. The landing gear machines (or structures) are pretty simple in nerve of the commercial cleaver as compared to the commercial airplanes. But, that is not the case for the naval helicopters. Because of the not-so-friendly landing pre delays, the naval helicopter must have sophisticated landing gear chemical mechanism connected with its fuselage. The design of the landing gear mechanism for the naval helicopter should be such that the helicopter merchant ship land safely in aircraft carrier as well as in backdrop also, the mechanism should not fail under the sea wave excitation, while in ground condition.b. Research on landing gearDuring the initial age of the human flying history, the flyers apply to have the Skids as landing gears. The skids are still very much in use for commercial helicopters. But, for the airplanes and for the naval helicopters wheels are used mostly for the landing gears. The wheels are connected with the shock absorbers to form the landing gears. The landing gear, then, get connected with the fuselage in various fashions based upon the sizing of the aircraft. All the wheel based landing gears can broadly be categorized in terce main categoriesConventionalTri-cycleTandemFig.1 Showing three basic types of wheel based landing gearsTwo front wheels and a evoke tail wheel are used to form the conventional landing gear. The older aircrafts still have this type of landing gear. Ground handling is bit difficult here. The tri-cycle configurations has cardinal (or multiple of two) wheels at rear and minimum of angiotensin-converting enzyme nose wheel (s) at front. It gives better ground handling comfort and used widely for sm every sized aircrafts. On the basis of the wheel arrangements, diametrical types of tri-cycle arrangements are possible (as shown down the st airs)Fig.2 Showing different types of Tri-Cycle configurations (as per Federal Aviation Administration nomenclature)The multiples of landing gears are placed in line to form a compound tandem landing gear system. Different combinations of tandem are possible (as shown below)Fig.3 Showing different types of Tandem configurations (as per Federal Aviation Administration nomenclature)c. Conceptualizing Naval helicopter Landing GearAfter studying different types of available landing gears configurations, I have decided to develop the landing gear opinion of case-by-case wheel main gear with dual wheel nose gear configuration. It s a kind of tri-cycle configuration.Fig.4 Showing the rough landing gear conceptI have decided to use only contortion spring as shock absorbing elements for the concept.d. Preliminary Design CalculationsIn order further developing the concept, I have used the following dataTotal mass of the helicopter = 5126 KgSprung mass on each spring, m = 2563 KgDistance b etween the front and rear gear = 5 mDistance between the two rear gears= 2mNormal landingVertical channel run of the helicopter = 0.5 m/ second baseVertical ball over speed = 0So, the congeneric speed between the knock down and the helicopter, v =0. 5 m/sec=500 mm/secSo, the kinetic energy of the helicopter, KE = 0.5*m*v2 = 320375000 kg-mm2/sec2The energy stored in the tortuousness spring, SE= 0.5*k*r2 =0.5*kWhere, k= spring rate in N-mm/ percentage pointr=deformation of the spring =1 degree (assumed)Now, asKE = SE .eqn.1So, k= 640750000 N-mm/DegreeI will use this spring rate for rest of the two landing conditions to find out the deformations of the torsion springs.Hard landingVertical descent speed of the helicopter = 3 m/secVertical deck speed = -3 m/secSo, the congenator speed between the deck and the helicopter, v =6 m/sec=6000 mm/secK= 640750000 N-mm/degreeSo, by using the eqn.1r= 12 degreeCrush landingVertical descent speed of the helicopter = 15 m/secVertical deck spee d = 0m/secSo, the relative speed between the deck and the helicopter, v =15 m/sec=15000 mm/secK= 640750000 N-mm/degreeSo, by using the eqn.1r= 30 degreeSo, I will start my ADAMS design with the treasures obtained from this hand calculation and gradually fine tune the values in order to wreak the landing criteria.e. Converting the Conceptual Design to ADAMS MechanismsI have used the MSC ADAMS software for preparing two landing gear mechanism design options out of the abstract design and the hand calculations. The two design options differ in terms of heights. Parametric design advantage of the ADAMS software is utilized for creating the two design options. magical spell creating the two mechanism design options, the following ADAMS options are utilizedPoint Points are used for creating basic locations of all the important elements of the design (like centre of the wheels etc.) toroid Wheels of the landing gears are created using the torus option.Link All the structural members (like top frame, axels etc) are created using this option.Box This tool is used for creating the landing deck of the air craft carrier.Torsion Spring This is for creating the front and rear torsion springs.Hinge Joint This option is for creating all the revolute joints of the mechanism.Translational Joint This option is used for creating the translational joints.Contact The contacts between the wheels and the deck are created using this option.e.1. ADAMS Mechanism Option-1The mechanism option-1 looks like belowFig.5 Showing the ADAMS Mechanism option-1 ArrangementThe points table for the mechanism option-1 looks like belowFig.6 Showing the point table for the mechanism option-1e.2. ADAMS Mechanism Option-2The mechanism option-2 looks like belowFig.7 Showing the ADAMS Mechanism option-2 ArrangementThe points table for the mechanism option-2 looks like belowFig.8 Showing the point table for the mechanism option-2e.3. Selecting the Optimum ADAMS Landing Gear MechanismThe selection of the best design out of the two options is done by observing the speedup values. The acceleration plots for the hard landing conditions (descent velocity of the helicopter = 3 m/sec and upward deck speed = 3m/sec) for both the concepts are shown belowFig.9 Showing the hard landing condition acceleration plots for both the conceptsThe above plot is display that the level best acceleration value for the design -2 is more than50 m/sec2.The acceleration plots for the crush landing condition (descent velocity of the helicopter =15 m/sec and upward deck speed = 0 m/sec) for both the options are shown belowFig.10 Showing the crush landing condition acceleration plots for both the conceptsThe above plot is showing that the maximum acceleration value for the design option-2 is much higher in case of the crush landing condition. So, on the basis of the above two tests, it can be concluded that the design option-1 is better among the two options. Hence, I have selected the design option-1 for further analysis.f. Testing the Selected ADAMS mechanism (design option-1) Against the Specified Landing ConditionsNormal Landing Condition The acceleration plot for normal landing condition (descent velocity of the helicopter = 0.5 m/sec and upward deck speed = 0m/sec) for the design option-1 is shown belowFig.11 Showing the normal landing condition acceleration plots for the Design Option-1The above plot is showing that the maximum acceleration value for normal landing condition for the design option-1 is 7.5 m/sec2.Hard Landing Condition The acceleration plot for normal landing condition (descent velocity of the helicopter = 3 m/sec and upward deck speed = 3m/sec) for the design option-1 is shown belowFig.12 Showing the hard landing condition acceleration plots for the Design Option-1The above plot is showing that the maximum acceleration value for hard landing condition for the design option-1 is 48.1 m/sec2.Crush Landing Condition The acceleration plot for normal landing co ndition (descent velocity of the helicopter = 15 m/sec and upward deck speed = 0m/sec) for the design option-1 is shown belowFig.13 Showing the crush landing condition acceleration plots for the Design Option-1The above plot is showing that the maximum acceleration value for hard landing condition for the design option-1 is 119.6 m/sec2.g. Running the Vibration analysis for the Selected ADAMS MechanismThe vibration analysis is performed for the Design option-1 using the ADAMS vibration plug-in. For simulating the sea wave oscillations, two acceleration actuators are used at front and the rear axles. One output channel is created at the COG of the top frame. The output channel is used for measuring the acceleration at the COG of the frame.Fig.14 Showing the frequency Response Analysis plot for the Design Option-1The pick of the above frequency response plot indicates the resonating frequency for the design option-1. So, the resonating frequency here is 64.5 Hz.h. Consolidated Result s for Design Option-1Parameters ValuesMaximum Normal Landing quickening (m/sec2) 7.5Maximum Normal Landing Acceleration (m/sec2) 48.1Maximum Normal Landing Acceleration (m/sec2) 119.6Resonating Frequency (Hz) 64.5i. DiscussionTask-1 This task is covered in the section-c and section-d.Task-2 This task is covered in Section-f.Task-3 This task is covered in section-g.Task-4 This task is covered in section-e.j. ConclusionThe ADAMS is a powerful tool for creating and testing a mechanism under specified conditions. The parametric feature of ADAMS helps creating different design iterations easier. The design option-1 passed all the landing conditions specified for the assignment. Also, the resonating frequency observed for the design option-1 is 64.5 Hz.k. William Wells Brown and the Jefferson and Hemings Scandal Essay example
William Wells Brown and the Jefferson and Hemings Scandal William Wells Brown wrote Clotel or The Presidents Daughter, a (fiction) novel based on the rumors surrounding doubting Thomas Jeffersons subprogram with Sally Hemings, his slave. Brown learned of the scandal while working in several antislavery activities following his escape from slavery in 1834. Brown cherished not only to improve the social status of blacks and to support abolition through his writing, but also to encourage his readers to develop a skeptical kindred to glorified stories of the national past (Levine 15). He chose to write a novel that not only questioned slavery, but also questioned the validity of the principles that this nation was founded on.Rumors about the affair between Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings were circulating on a small scale after Hemings gave birth to several children who were noticeably light-skinned. Visitors as early as 1796 to Monticello, Jeffersons home in Virginia, often no ted, Mr. Jeffersons slaves had neither in their color nor features a single trace of their origin (Rothman 87). It was clear to many that the slave children at Monticello were the effect of interracial sexual relationships. Not until James Callender made a public accusation in 1802, however, did the scandal make its way into the press.James Callender was a jockstrap of Jeffersonian Republican politics, and he began writing political columns for the Philadelphia Gazette in the 1790s. His views were more extreme than those of the political party that he supported, however, and his writing was untactful. He attacked politicians who belonged to other(a) parties, and exposed scandals where scandals could be found (or created?). He was eventually fire... ...lgram, Jeff. Angelaââ¬â¢s Ashes by Frank McCourt :: English Literature
Book Review Angelas Ashes by Frank McCourtI read the book Angelas Ashes and I was truly amazed that it wastrue. I love reading about the old days and this is a book about Frank McCourt (the spring) misfortunes during his childhood in Limerick, Ireland. It is sad at times and you idlert think this is only a book but still the best read in a long time.Angelas Ashes is written from the perspective of Angelas first-bornson, Francis McCourt, the author of the novel. Angela and her husband,Malachy, are both born and raised in Ireland and emmigrate to America where they meet and marry. Angela gives birth to four sons, Francis, Malachy jr. and twins, Eugene and Oliver. Angela also has a daughter, Margaret. The McCourts return to Ireland with their children after the sadness they are struck by when young Margaret dies from malnutrition and tuberculosis. When in Limerick, the McCourts are welcomed by neither family nor theneighbours. Angelas insensitive mother tosses them out on the street s declaring she has no room for them in her house. They were forced to get a poor shack where fleas feasted on their skin while sleeping at night.Being from the despised Northern Ireland, Malachy finds it hard to find a job and when he does he drinks away his wages leaving the familydestitute. After finally settling into the neighbourhood in Ireland, Angela loses Oliver and Eugene to tuberculosis and the fever. Unable to cope, Angela forces Malachy Jr. and Francis to spend much of their time outdoors while she rests. Angela has two more boys, Michael and Alfie. Malachy is unable to support his family and Angela is often left to beg from charities in order to march on her family alive. Francis is neglected by his parents and many of the Irish people. As he grows older he deepens his understanding of sex and involves himself insexual acts, which he later regrets. His morality makes him feel extremelyguilty for these dirty acts. He begins to take on many more responsibilitiessuch as living with his uncle away from his family and finding bend inorder to support himself. This novel grabs a hold of you and pulls you into the story, forcing you to feel what its like to live in the slums. Although McCourt lived a very rough life he managed to pull out a few humorous scenes in his story.

Rainy Day :: essays research papers
Its a rainy day today I am sitting at my window and watching the beauty of nature. This is great sight I love the scenes the nature has created today. Let me share it with you The falling weewee droplets make the air cool and environment calm. When it starts rain slowly every one rushes to safe place to save them. Women rush to roof to dole out their framework down to save from getting wet. Small children gets excited. You can easily see them jumping and trying to come out to take a feel of rain. shake off you watched the scene on roads when it starts raining. ha ha its funny scene. Some people try to escape by running/ some try to take shelter under others roof / some take bag or books magazines on their head and try to escape. But this is all when it is atonic rain. but when it is heavy rain one has no way. Even umbrellas are insufficient. The heavy lightning with thunderous sound.. God save us Prays the poor in his hut. Every one comes out on window and peeps out side scene . If you have a field in front you will hear songs of frog. accommodate u seen them when they speak/ their vocal sac. This seems like a baloon. The old ponders the rain scene and remembers his child hood and young days. He never forgets to guard his high-sounding children waiting to jump in rain. Still u see the eager ness of children if they could have been permitted to take a bath. What is more that when it rains with heavy wind. U shut your door and window. And still manage to peep out side Ha ha ha Hands off to God .on this well-favoured scene creation. How beautiful is the scene of nature The black thunderous cloud, the fading day light due to its darkness, birds rushing to their nests. And the unique beauty of raining. Well this is not all. When it stops raining. Its a different pleasure . Small water droplets droping from wet leaves one after one.. creating different sounds when droping on water/ dry leaves/ wood or metal. Have you heard them They sound great Small child ren making paper boats and sailing them. On low lands water are logged.

Compare Dickensââ¬â¢ presentation of Scrooge in Stave I and Stave V Essay e
Compare devil presentation of Scrooge in turn I and Stave VScrooges presentation in Stave I and in Stave V is very different. InStave I demon presents Scrooge, as a cold-hearted old man who loveshimself and hates Christmas. In contrast, his nephew Fred enjoysChristmas with his wife, and is so nice to Scrooge all the timewhereas Scrooge is always reckon to Fred, (Bah, Humbug). Dickens usesthe weather to describe how cold it gets when Scrooge is near thepoint that he is trying to make is that he is so mean that hismeanness has infected the atmosphere. It tells us that Scrooge is onlyworried about himself and his money. After Scrooge talking and hangingaround with ghosts he goes back to bed and wakes up to reality, andchanges all his mean ways.In Stave I, Dickens emphasizes the negative side of Scrooge. Scroogeis well known around his town and one day two portly gentlemen fuck offover and ask for some money for the poor, who cant celebrateChristmas but Scrooge says, Are there any p risons? The gentlemenreplied, Plenty of Prisons, this just tel...
